BIO

 GREGG MARTINEZ- AKA- MAC DADDY- is Louisiana's premier R&B/Blues/Swamp Pop artist and is a member of the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. Born and raised in Lafayette, he now lives and is based in New Orleans. He has released 11 albums inclucing 2016's Soul of the Bayou, which was on the 2016 Grammy Awards ballot and was voted into the Top Ten Albums in Louisiana 2016 bt OFFBEAT Magazine and it reached #2 on the national Soul Music chart. In addition to his native Louisiana, Gregg has toured extensively across the US and around the world. He has been nominated numerous times for Best Male Vocalist at the OFFBEAT Magazine Awards. He is backed by his band the Delta Kings- a seven piece unit with full horn section and some of the hottest musicians in the South. His music is featured on many radio stations around the country and overseas as well. The late Ed Bradley of TV's 60 Minutes- upon seeing him perform at the 2005 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival- called Gregg Martinez "One of America's greatest hidden treasures." He even sang at Percy Sledge's funeral.
